All outreach education will share the concept that Native Nations and our animal kingdoms need to flourish and sustain one another while respecting the natural elements, our youth, and the teachings of our elders. All materials will be developed with the four phases of thinking, planning, doing, and verifying to assist Native populations of all ages that we live together and grow together with our animals. Targeted audiences include head start, elementary, high school, tribal colleges and universities, chapter communities, worksites, businesses, tribal councils, and external partners.

To provide avenues to Native livestock and horse owners the opportunity to increase genetic quality and improve herds with herd planning and the purchase of quality sires. Livestock producers will have access to artificial insemination and cool semen insemination, and the producers should request the services. The improvements to livestock and herds will increase the value of livestock.
The economy of the Navajo Nation depends on the quality-assured practices of raising livestock. This work will involve the promotion of good practices in animal husbandry through field demonstration and public education. Livestock producers will gain record-keeping knowledge and the tools to properly identify livestock for increased revenue at auction/sale.
